Sure,

I want to change the displayed content: today format is {{ FILENAME }} > {{ header }}, suppose I have two different folders with the same filename and header e.g:

Fodler 1
		TODO.md -> header 1 -> task (Learn)
Folder 2
		TODO.md -> header 1 -> task (Learn) 

will render something like:

  Learn (TODO > Header 1)
  Learn (TODO > Header 1)

I find this quite messy to identify the task, although if I hover over it, I would be able to identify from where it came from. I would like to spend less time using the mouse doing it.

Furthermore, I would like to be possible to format the displayed message (something with place holders) something like: "{{task.folder}} < {{task.header}}"

Would you do this via a "global" setting of "Tasks" or on a "per-query" basis? Where and how would you define these?

I think a “global definition” would make more sense than a “per-query” because letting it be so granular could lead to unexpected issues.
I think it should have limited options, e.g.,

- Complete File Path:  the whole system path , {{FULLPATH}} (filename included)
- Path Until File, the previously one without the filename, {{FILEPATH}}
- Parent Folder, {{FOLDER}}
- FILENAME , {{FILENAME}} 
- HEADER, the header or subheader the task is defined, {{TASKHEADER}}

and a separated option to define the separator (which defaults to: >).
So, an option like the global task filter where you define the “task display info” (please don't use this name, I'm awful in naming things).
