I know this is out of scope but i'll give it a try because you made a effort to fix Minecraft's wmclass. Is it possible to fix the audio output name so KDE Plasma can show audio controls on window preview?

It seems to work for me, what mods are you using? The icon is the old minecraft icon, instead of the new one, maybe try removing whichever mod changes that.

I changed the icon by creating a desktop entry manually and removing the Flatpak permission to write in applications directory

I am using native pipewire, I suspect it's something with flatpak. Have you tried enabling some permissions related to audio?

Permissions for xdg-run/pipewire-0 was already enabled. I removed the modified desktop entry and added permissions to xdg-data/applications and xdg-data/icons

For some reason, audio controls will work if i prevent the desktop entry creation.

Unrelated but how do you actually make it use native pipewire (or ensure it is using it), is there an environment variable or a setting that I don't know of? Sorry if this is a stupid question.

Its not stupid, i have no idea of how to do it without Flatpak. I used flatpak-kcm to remove the Pulseaudio permission and added read/write permission to xdg-run/pipewire-0. Same thing work for Sober and other native games running inside Flatptak.

edit: Maybe setting ALSOFT_DRIVERS=pipewire variable will work for you

Yeah, i don't think that the issue is related with the audio server, pipewire-alsa had the same behavior.
