  • This is a bug, not a question or an enhancement.
  • I've searched for similar issues and didn't find a duplicate.
  • I've written a clear and descriptive title for this issue, not just "Bug" or "Crash".
  • I agree to follow Nextcloud's Code of Conduct.

I noticed this issue with my Obsidian folder, where locally created notes are not being synchronized.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Create a folder either through the nextcloud website dashboard or through nextcloud desktop client
  2. Create a simple text file with a word as content
  3. Sync that folder on Nextcloud Android and wait until it synced it for the first time
  4. Once synced, create a text file in the local directory (inside com.nextcloud.client -> in the newly synchronized folder
  5. Wait for the next synchronization to happen
  6. See that the locally created files are not being synced.

Expected behaviour

Files created on the smartphone inside the 2-way-sync folder should be synchronized as well.

Actual behaviour

It currently ignores all locally created files
