listening to music is nice on long (10+ min) tests. you'd link spotify acc, then toggle it as a setting (where you could customize position) to display some info- song, artist, cover art, etc. would be cool imo. side note, not asking for people to work on this. i'll probably do some work on this myself soon enough and eventually make a pr for it. just looking for feedback :) |

What if you have Youtube music or Apple music instead? Not everyone has spotify 😉 |

spotify is by far the most common- having apple music or yt music just invites the exact same comment "not everyone has x" |

I don't think this is a feature needed in monkeytype. It would not provide a meaningful integration by just showing the current song you're listening to. I feel this feature would be better as maybe a browser plugin or overlay in your OS that would also work on other sites not just monkeytype. |
