Hi,

I don't know if it is the same cause, but I have the same issue.

I installed a new CachyOS and a fresh vscodium. Then I installed the ansible extensions which then installs python environments via dependencies.

When I now open an ansible yaml file, the ansible extension detects the installed python version and everything works

But the python environments extension tries to refresh for a long time with no result. (I added the path in the settings, but it doesn't help). Same thing happens when using a python file test.py.

There is no environment found at all by the extension.

When I disable the extension (which also disables ansible) and create a test.py the interpreter is found immediately.
