I have a PR with lots of comments 100+. Currently I don't see any of them in the extension locally or connected to another machine remotely. No matter what I try - I don't see any comments anywere in this case.
I also think GitHub itself makes reviewing old comments very hard the way it presents the "Conversation" section.

I have many open PRs. My experience is that sometimes comments appear, sometimes they appear with delay and sometimes they don't appear at all. If I open the project sometimes they do appear.

Also I found a way to force the comments to appear (briefly). I clicked to create an new comment, then I clicked on the "Refresh" button. I saw the comments being enumerated and in a few seconds they disappeared.
