When Building a Project, Extension Spawns a TON of RG.exe processes

Environment:
Production

• VS Code Version: 1.108.0
• Extension Version: 0.30.5
• JDK Type & Version: N/A
• OS Type & Version: Windows

Step to Reproduce:
When building a large repository with a lot of dist/ generated folders in a huge TS project, the extension proceeds to spawn 100+! rg.exe processes that lead the machine to essentially freeze and basically break. This change has seriously impacted building and has essentially made this extension a resource hogger.

Expected Behavior:
Not to spawn 100+ rg.exe processes

Actual Behavior:
Spawns 100+ rg.exe processes that crash the entire machine

This is not a duplicate from 2020. This has been happening recently and spawns the processes for the entire build time, which already takes 20+ minutes. This issue causes the build to freeze.
