Revive Component Firmware Update (CFU) samples #1330
Description
If would be nice if Microsoft could revive the Component Firmware Update (CFU) driver documentation and driver samples to help developers get started with CFU for firmware updates.
Most of the CFU documentation pages are currently referring to the https://github.com/microsoft/CFU repo that appears to be abandoned with no one responding to issues or pull requests. The project does furthermore not build with Visual Studio 2022 due to an outdated DMF submodule.
Could it be possible to either revive the https://github.com/microsoft/CFU project and/or migrate it to this repo, so that it can serve as working starting-point for CFU development?
