2.6.1 brakes on Windows for multiple devices

With my T-Echo, Station G2 and T3S3 I get an error saying:

meshtastic.mesh_interface.MeshInterface.MeshInterfaceError: Timed out waiting for connection completion

Direct serial connection with Putty / webconsole works fine still.

Rolling back to 2.6.0, everything works again. Only thingI can see that makes a difference is #753
