Seeed Studio Wio Tracker L1 Pro: Firmware fails to work with v1.16 and 1.17

After writing Companion firmware v1.16.x or v.1.7.0, (which ends successfully), the device is not responding.

• The COM port exists, but is not responding to input via a terminal.
• The Web Configurator says it is not a Companion device (because it gets no answer)

Writing Companion v1.15 back, all works normally.
