Updating knob values and saving new script.

Hey there!

I'm loving this Parser you've built, simple code and fast to run!

Would it be possible to add a few extra methods to the Node class to set a knobs value? I am looking for a way to replace "file" paths and then save out an updated Nuke file without having to spin up a Nuke console and take a license.

So far I am using your parser to find the file paths and then using regex line by line to replace the files, and this works, but having this built into the Node class with the ability to output the "updated" script would be amazing.

Thoughts?

Hi @Nightingale13, I'm happy you like it. This is something I have wanted to do for a while but I don't know how The Foundry what the logic is behind the node id (N11da09e0 )set N11da09e0 [stack 0] and push $N11da09e0. The issue is that the key needs to work with nuke so I can't make up my own key. It can be done. It will take some time.
