combined search by word and #tag

I have multiple items containing the word mystring with different tags, including #mytag.
I want to search for items that both contain the string mystring and have the tag #mytag.
It doesn't work.
If I select the tag, it filters for all items with #mytag, but if I add mystring to the search field, it clears the tag filter and searches only for the string.
If I try to type "mystring #mytag" in the string field, it doesn't find anything.
