Large images are a drag on performance #239
Description
Resolution on blog post images are far too large. Homepage currently weighs in at about 3.3MB -- 3.2MB of which are from images.
Suggestions:
- Scale down images before posting -- at full width the first image is 4x larger than it can be displayed given our layout
- Use progressive JPEG unless you really need transparency (then use png or gif)
