What this means

This ID is stable, derived from your existing GitHub URL — nothing to invent. Any system using the provenance-protocol SDK can query your trust profile before delegating work to your agent:

What a PROVENANCE.yml adds

A PROVENANCE.yml in your repo root lets you declare your agent's identity directly rather than having us guess it from code signals:

• Capabilities — what your agent can do (read:web, write:code, api:external, etc.)
• Constraints — what it will never do (no:pii, no:financial:transact, etc.)
• Cryptographic identity — Ed25519 keypair that proves you control this agent's identity
• AJP endpoint — if your agent accepts jobs over HTTP, declaring it here makes it callable by other agents via the Agent Job Protocol
