xfce is resseting resolution to 800x600 after activating screen saver or idle mode

I am currently using 21.3 and have resolution set up to be 1680x1050 under VM VirtualBox 6.1.

As soon as the shell goes to login screen (screen lock) it changes the resolution to 800x600.

Resolution has to be updated each time after logging in.

This was present in 20.0 with VirtualBox 6.0
