rustfmt complains about formatting from repository

I've merged @roderickvd's latest changes to my branch. When I try to commit the merge I'm told that examples/play_connect.rs was badly formatted. But that file is identical to upstream, where I'm sure rustfmt has been applied, too... how come?

I forgot to edit rustfmt.toml when we switched to Rust edition 2024. Moreover, it did not specify any style edition either. This should now be fixed in 218eced. Can you confirm?

I modified the rustfmt.toml temporarily to get past that "issue". Now as the pre-commit hook would only check modified files I'm good with the original configuration... I'll see what happens with your latest configuration changes.
