[Bug]: Pressing `Enter`-key in search box breaks search

Current Behavior

Pressing Enter-Key in search box does nothing (except perhaps closing the search results overlay).

Expected Behavior

Pressing Enter-Key in search box should trigger a search - sometimes "search as you type" stops working for some reason, and it seems counterintuitive to delete a character already entered and re-entering it again just to resume it.

Steps To Reproduce

1. type search term into search box
2. push enter
3. search results box disappears, search is inactive, further presses of Enter-key don't change the result. Clicking the looking glass doesn't trigger a search either.
