Key mapper v4.0.4-foss unuseably slow / unresponsive, each key takes a second to trigger.

What happened that you did not expect?

F-droid upgraded me to v4.0.4-foss today, and unfortunately it made key mapper unusable. Each key press now takes ~500ms to trigger the action, no matter the key.

Reverting to 3.2.1-foss fixed the issue. Fortunately I had a backup made from before this upgrade, because the older version could not import the new backup.

What did you expect to happen?

As fast as before.

What would the developer need to do to reproduce the bug?

1. Install 3.2.1 , use.
2. Install 4.0.4 , it now lags
