[Bug]: Respect User Git Default Config Branch instead of `main`

What happened?

Hello,
I would like the git client to use default configured branch instead of main branch

allow the user to pick default configured branch

Steps to reproduce

1. Open a Folder
2. It automatically inits vcs without any prompt whatever, no preferences config for changing default branch
