Gratuitous ARP and ARP Probe

I noticed that the ARP module has a gratuitous ARP method to send out such messages, however that method is never called. When a device boots up, it normally generates a gratuitous ARP message. Both hosts and routers broadcast gratuitous ARP, however some vendors use a reply and some use a request, which really does not make any difference.

I tested this with the following GNS scenario. Interestingly, you can see from the captured Wireshark that Cisco uses reply gratuitous ARP, while the host networking stack uses a request gratuitous ARP.
