Great tool, it has become my daily driver for my git workflow and repo management (gh and forgejo). it also solves one pain point that was non-obvious initially to me, having agents not get confused when working with different upstream forges.

note: I only have opencode and claude code, I only have forgejo and gh.

Thanks for this, really useful idea. I've turned it into a skill in the git-pkgs/skills plugin so it ships alongside the existing brief and git-pkgs skills: git-pkgs/skills#1

Once that's merged you'll get it via:

/plugin marketplace add git-pkgs/skills
/plugin install git-pkgs@git-pkgs

The skill is focused on forge CLI usage (telling the agent to use forge pr, forge issue, forge ci etc when the remote isn't GitHub) rather than the library architecture, since that's the bit that helps agents driving repos. The architecture reference from your gist would make a good AGENTS.md in this repo if you want to send that separately.
