Feature Request: Make checkboxes interactive in Preview mode

I noticed that checkboxes in the Preview pane are not interactive. It would be great if we could check/uncheck boxes directly in the Preview mode, which then updates the Markdown source in the Edit view.

Would this be possible or is there a different solution which I haven't found yet?

I agree with @1amcord . Being able to toggle check boxes in view mode is essential.
