Backlog cleared --> v1.0.0 release coming #340

@abelbraaksma I've cleared the issue backlog fully (with help of coding agents of course). Apart from #246 and #139 , which can come later
With that I'm going to release v1.0.0 of this library 🎉 😄
It's great to get this over the line as a permanent, reliable, high-performance part of the F# ecosystem.
