Search by commit SHA is not working properly #2698
Description
When cherry-picking a commit, I usually searched for its SHA value, then the corresponding commit become selected in the interface. Recently, it does not work anymore. I copy the eight-character commit hash from GitLab and search it using Ctrl+F, it cannot be found. However, if I remove the last character and make it seven character, it found.
The commit should be searchable either by its prefix or by its full SHA value, and if the commit is found, it should either be selected automatically or the commit list should be scrolled so that the matching commit appears at the top.
