Bug: Tags don't work properly

Description

I experienced this issues with reference to tags:

• defined folders inside tags are shown three times
• defined folder within a tag is lost in later sessions
• folders are assigned in/to the wrong tag

That means save procedure doesn't work properly

Steps To Reproduce

1. Created tags called Setup and Immobilien
2. Tag a folder with Setup
3. Tag a different folder with Immobilien
4. Folder tagged with Setup is shown in tag Immobilien

Inside the opened tag block

defined folder within a tag is lost in later sessions folders are assigned in/to the wrong tag

that means, I created Tag Setup with folder Setup inside and Tag Immobilien with folder Immobilien inside Later (after reboot Windows or restart Files) folder Setup is located in Tag Immobilien

I could say that, in my experience, I put tags on folders and files (on the enterprise network), and very quickly, these tags disappear.

@Piecq If there remove instantly then your company is likely hosting on an OS that doesn't support or blocking ADS, your issue will be solved with #15272 You can check there or click subscribe in the right sidebar for updates.

zu den Fragen:

• Die Tags erscheinen auf dem Desktop im Block Tags (beide Desktophälften).

• Die getaggten Locations sind Ordner auf meinem Computer

Thanks, tag block isn't a thing from your first comment so it seems like a translation issue. I assume you mean the tags widget shown on Files home page, in that case this is tracked in #17128 . You can check there or click subscribe in the right sidebar for updates.
