Hitting enter hides the mousepointer (Codex)

First of all - thanks for the efforts put into this plugin. An annoying issue has surfaced enough times for me to write my first issue here. I use Codex as my primary chat in VS 2026. However, when putting Codex to work (e.g. press enter) my mouse disappears but can sometime be tweaked to re-appear (e.g. if i scroll over your chat window).

If you can please do some tests with native mode for Codex I would appreciate. It is currently in beta phase and I am improving it.

What was happening

Windows has a "Hide pointer while typing" setting (on by default) that hides the cursor on each keystroke and restores it on the next mouse move. That restore never arrived inside the extension: embedding the terminal with SetParent permanently merges the terminal thread''s input queue with the Visual Studio UI thread, and while an agent is streaming its reply the terminal thread can stop pumping messages long enough that the message which would bring the pointer back is never processed. The pointer then stayed invisible until you happened to move over another VS window. Codex shows it most because its TUI repaints continuously for the whole reply.

Two other things made it worse: the extension injects a right-click into the terminal before pasting (to clear any selection), which moved the pointer to the middle of the terminal and left it there — so the cursor was both invisible and no longer where you left it.

Fix

• The cursor is explicitly re-asserted after every send completes, bypassing the message that never arrives.
• The synthetic right-click now puts the pointer back exactly where you had it.

Please update to v110.0 and let me know if you still see it. Thanks for the detailed report — the mention that it happens on Enter specifically is what made this findable.
