CartDiscountValue of type giftLineItem is supported ?

Hi, Can you please confirm if Syncing cart discounts with a CartDiscountValue of type giftLineItem is supported ?

i see there is mention about this in main readme, wanted to check if this issue is fixed or still underdevelopment with any timeline for release?

(we have discount values that are using product reference, channel references and we observe those are not getting synched).
