This was always going to be the case. The credits you bought are not "comfy cloud" credits, they are "api node" credits that you can use on the api nodes on the local version of comfyui, you don't need a cloud subscription to use them. |

Saludos

On October 22nd, I purchased $20 in credits for Comfy Cloud with the intention of supporting the platform and testing its capabilities. At that time, there was no requirement for a monthly subscription to use the service — credits were sufficient to run workflows.
I was able to generate a single 3D image without issue. After a few days of not using the platform, I returned only to find that I could no longer run anything unless I subscribed to a monthly plan. This change was never clearly communicated, and it effectively locked me out of using the credits I had already paid for.
I’ve emailed hello@comfy.org multiple times requesting a refund or at least access to use the credits I purchased, but I’ve received no response.
This feels misleading. It’s not logical to allow users to deposit money into a system that won’t let them spend it unless they commit to recurring payments. If Comfy Cloud had disclosed this requirement upfront, I wouldn’t have made the purchase.
If anyone else has experienced something similar, I’d appreciate hearing about it. Transparency and fair communication are essential for trust in any platform.
