Question/Feature: Propagate UI language to applications #5183

Hello.
I don't know if what I'm about to describe is already supported.
I found nothing in the documentation about this, but maybe there already ways to achieve it.
If it's the case, an hint or some guidance would be appreciated.
If, on the other end, this is not supported yet, please consider this ticket as a feature request.
It would be great if the language/locale selected and currently in the use by the UI could be automatically propagated, for example through a header, to the downstream applications when they're called so that they can, if wanted, customize the returned info and health details in order to have them language-oriented (e.g.: translated labels).
Moreover, if possible, it would be great if such a feature could also be taken into account for the sidebar links shown for an instance which, as of today, they're propagated through metadata.
Of course, in this specific case, the language should not be mandatory (e.g.: to not pollute the metadata even further).
