Is the npm package not being maintained?

I'm trying to get rid of the warning: warning "react-native-spring-scrollview > @react-native-community/async-storage@1.12.1" has incorrect peer dependency "react@^16.8".

I can see the repo master branch has the correct dependency @react-native-async-storage/async-storage": "^1.15.5".
But the packages in npm does not, even with 4.0.0-dev-0.
