Will the foundation influence which projects are accepted?

All .NET Foundation projects are expected to contribute to the .NET ecosystem in some direct way.

• Initial evaluation of community health
• Needs to be directly .NET related
• Otherwise anything goes <- this is the one that most applies

This will ensure that all PR's are of a suitably high quality, because all contributors will need to have signed the cla.

The problem with you .Net people is your thinking is always so narrow. As this is such a far reaching library I would recommend the Linux foundation
