pkg has been deprecated #177
Description
Per https://github.com/vercel/pkg:
pkg has been deprecated with 5.8.1 as the last release. There are a number of successful forked versions of pkg already with various feature additions. Further, we’re excited about Node.js 21’s support for single executable applications.
Unfortunate for our project, but ultimately not surprising as the Vercel folks had this library on life support anyway. Functionally nothing changes at the moment, but we need to start figuring out a migration path for our binary distributions (or make the challenging decision to migrate everyone to package releases only).
