[question] How to use the pouchDB in react?

When I read this document:
https://www.npmjs.com/package/pouchdb-browser

I use React demo :

import { useEffect } from 'react'
import './App.css'

import PouchDB from 'pouchdb-browser';


function App() {

  useEffect(() => {
    
    const db = new PouchDB('mydb');  // there get error: Class extends value [object Object] is not a constructor or null
    console.log(db)

  }, [])

  return (
    <>
      112233
    </>
  )
}

export default App

the error:

pouchdb-browser.js?v=949d4232:1222 Uncaught TypeError: Class extends value [object Object] is not a constructor or null

If I use {} to import, it says: there is no PouchDB element.

import { PouchDB } from 'pouchdb-browser';
