We've started using this in our internal codebase. It seems to work really well. I haven't dug into code size, etc. It's a very nice way to take constructors or functions with a lot of parameters and give them a builder style API.

I don't have an informed comparison to supply, but bon has also become fairly popular in this space.

Thanks for sharing had not heard of it! Since I haven't tried it I can't offer a comparison either but I'm game for any solution. It just seems like we have this pattern a lot and using something to improve it would be nice.
