App Functions Not exposed to Gemni Mobile Assistant

Using your sample project i've create AppFunction sample app, and tested over Gemni Mobile app like "Show my recent bill" but it didn't respond. It did retrieve the data in Mac terminal but not in the Gemni mobile app. Will it be achievable in near future or am i missing something.

As it is not yet released, you ned to use the AppFunctions test apk provided in this repo.
Note that the parsing of the gemini response is currently broken but you can ask a LLM to fix the parsing for you and create a new apk (until they have updated it).

I have the same issue: why can't the Gemini App on my Pixel 10 Android 17 call the AppFunction in my app?

This is expected as we're working on Gemini integration with a limited set of early access partners.
For now you can use the testing agent in this repository to verify AppFunction behavior.
