ESSTRA is an open-source software suite that enhances transparency and traceability in the software supply chain. It collects information about source files used during compilation and embeds this metadata directly into the resulting binaries. This enables clearer insight into the contents of software builds and supports more accurate SBOM generation, license compliance, and vulnerability management.
