Code of Conduct

Purpose

The primary goal of this project is to foster an inclusive and welcoming community where individuals of all backgrounds feel comfortable and can contribute effectively. This Code of Conduct outlines our expectations for all those who participate in our community, as well as the consequences for unacceptable behavior.

Expected Behavior

We expect all community members to be respectful, considerate, and collaborative. In particular, we emphasize:

  • Inclusivity: Respect and value the diversity of all contributors.
  • Kindness: Be considerate and supportive in your interactions.
  • Open-mindedness: Be open to different ideas and perspectives.

Unacceptable Behavior

Examples of unacceptable behavior include:

  • Harassment: Any form of unwelcome conduct, comments, or images that create an intimidating, hostile, or offensive environment.
  • Discrimination: Any action that promotes discrimination based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, nationality, disability, or other protected characteristics.
  • Disrespectful behavior: Deliberate intimidation, trolling, or personal attacks.
  • Inappropriate language or imagery: Use of offensive or inappropriate language, or sharing of inappropriate imagery.
  • Unprofessional conduct: Any behavior that violates professional standards.

Consequences of Unacceptable Behavior

Unacceptable behavior will not be tolerated. Consequences may include warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent expulsion from the community, depending on the severity and frequency of the behavior.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies to all community spaces, including GitHub repositories, discussion forums, and any other communication channels.
