Chrome extension doesn't show puzzle icon after adding Allowed Origin

I configured Komf sometime ago with the userscript, and after not using it for a while today I tried to use it again with the extension.

When I add the Allowed Origin in permission settings (and refresh, restart etc) I don't get the puzzle icon in Kavita. I think something connects because I do get the Komf Identify button (does nothing, last job in Komf is from May) next to Edit Information.

Komf is configured and accesible through it's webui.

I usually use Tailscale to access kavita, but turning it off and accessing from the local machine made no difference

Tried both Chrome and Firefox (Firefox doesn't show the Komf Identify button though) .

Both Kavita 0.8.8.3 and komf:latest installed in Docker Desktop in Windows 11.

UNRELATED: Unless I'm missing something, Komf doesn't show version in the WebUI? I think it'd be nice to have it present.

I've had the same issue for weeks. It usually ended up working by reloading the page, though it might break again after a page reload, but for the past few days it has been 100% broken.
Running on Kavita 0.8.8.3 native + Komf 1.7.0, both running on the same W10 machine that's being used to access it. The issue is the same regardless of IP address used (public/loopback).

I'm not sure if its the same problem as you guys but I'm running komf and kavita on a remote server and I can't get the puzzle icon to show up if I'm not running komf locally on my machine.

Update: I realized that I just needed to restart chrome to start showing up lol
Update 2: Yeah no, after restarting the instance, it straight up refuses to show up. komf works just fine but it wont show up on the page. The userscript is still working fine tho so I don't know what's up exactly.
