Description
There's something strange happening with the node where any value above 0 in the mask tries to set the pixel to a low value. I forget if it's supposed to be coded this way but if it is there should be a setting to Lerp the value towards set value based on mask and the "float value" should work in the set input slot so that it can move towards a certain height. This would allow you to make flat areas like roads, but it affects all areas equally. In the future there might be a better way to make a "road node" that flattens but still goes up hills and such, but that would be very complicated...
