Silence at the end

My songs are in .mp3, there's a lot of silence at the end of each song. It seems to be at least half if not more than the songs length of silence added to each song.

All of the songs were transcoded from various other formats to mp3 using ffmpeg -i "song" "song.mp3"

I'll update if I get around to testing other formats or find any plausible cause

Converting to .wav gets rid of the silence

im trying to find some mp3 documentation that describes this but I can't seem to find any.. hmmm. this is quite odd.
