Adding filters for making SEDs

Hi,

I am using ivs repository to make SED. I updated my ivs folder. But I want to add a new filter. VISTA/VHS filters are not included in the software, anyone can help me to add these filters?

Hi Luc,
In ivs/sed/filters.py, there are instructions on how to add a filter temporarily or permanently. You need the transmission curve for VISTA/VHS filters, and you've to paste them in ivs/sed/filters/.

Once that is done, you need to call the function update_info() in filters.py, where the zeropoints.dat file is updated. Do let me know if this works!
