+## Humble Data em Moçambique #1: O Teu Primeiro Passo na Ciência de Dados
+
+Gostarias de aprender a programar mas não sabes por onde começar? Dar os primeiros passos na programação pode parecer intimidador, por isso estamos a organizar um workshop prático e gratuito para ensinar iniciantes absolutos e partilhar a nossa paixão pela ciência de dados.

+### QUANDO E ONDE SERÁ O WORKSHOP?
+No sábado, **22 de Agosto de 2026**, das **08:00 às 14:00**. O local exato está atualmente **Por Anunciar** e será confirmado diretamente aos candidatos selecionados.
+
+Pedimos que chegues por volta das 07:45 para teres tempo de configurar o teu equipamento antes de começarmos.
+
+### O QUE PRECISO DE LEVAR?
+Apenas um computador portátil (laptop) com capacidade de ligação à internet e o respetivo carregador. Mais nada! Os nossos mentores vão ajudar-te a configurar todo o ambiente necessário no próprio dia.

+### PRECISO DE TER CONHECIMENTOS PRÉVIOS?
+Nenhuns! O workshop foi desenhado para pessoas com zero experiência em programação. Se já tens alguma familiaridade, mas és novo em Python ou em análise de dados, também serás muito bem-vindo — os materiais permitem avançar ao teu próprio ritmo.

+Durante o dia, serás introduzido a:
+* Conceitos básicos de Python (variáveis, listas, loops e condicionais)
+* Como carregar e ler dados usando Python
+* Como manipular e limpar dados com a biblioteca **pandas**
+* Como criar visualizações de dados claras com **Matplotlib** e **Seaborn**

+### EM QUE LÍNGUA SERÁ O WORKSHOP?
+A facilitação e mentoria serão conduzidas em **Português**. Os materiais de apoio e os notebooks de exercícios estarão em Português (alguns termis poderão estar em inglês a língua padrão da comunidade técnica), mas os mentores estarão ao teu lado para explicar e traduzir tudo passo a passo.

+O workshop é co-organizado pela **Python Mozambique Community** e **DSAI4Moz**, sendo dinamizado por voluntários da comunidade local que se dedicam ao ensino e à promoção do código aberto.

+Would you like to learn to code but don't know where to start? Taking your first steps in programming can feel intimidating, so we're running a free, hands-on workshop to show absolute beginners how it's done and to share our passion for data science along the way.

+## FAQ

+### WHEN AND WHERE IS THE WORKSHOP?
+
+Saturday, **August 22, 2026**, from **8:00 AM to 2:00 PM**. The venue is currently **To Be Announced** (details will be shared directly with accepted participants).
+
+Please aim to arrive by 7:45 AM to get set up before we start.
+
+### WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
+
+A laptop capable of connecting to the internet and its charger. That's it! Mentors will help you get everything configured on the day.
+
+### WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW?
+
+Nothing! The workshop is designed for people with zero programming experience. If you already have some experience but are new to Python or to data science, you're welcome as well — the materials are self-paced, so you can move at the speed that suits you.
+
+During the day, you'll be introduced to:
+* Python basics like variables, loops, functions, and conditionals
+* How to read in data using Python
+* How to manipulate and clean data using **pandas**
+* How to visualize data using **Matplotlib** and **Seaborn**
+
+### WHAT LANGUAGE IS THE WORKSHOP IN?
+Instruction and mentoring will be conducted in **Portuguese**. The learning materials and code notebooks are written in Portuguese (some terms may be in English), but our local mentors will be right by your side to explain and walk you through everything.

We want to lower that threshold, share what we'learned, and show that working with data is something anyone can be part of. That's why we stay humble around data, and have created a workshop that is deliberately friendly, supportive, and non-intimidating.
