Support for Joda Date Time

Is there plan to support Joda Date time ? Currently, I am converting my date into W3C formatted string, but it will be great if we can add support for Joda Date Time. Let me know , and I can submit a PR for the same.

+1 JsonRepresentationReader/Writer should just accept a configured ObjectMapper via their constructor. Then we could use this: https://github.com/FasterXML/jackson-datatype-joda

The ObjectMapper can be overidden via a subclass quite easily now, but agree - allowing you to pass in your own configured instance would be nicer.
