This appears very similar to issue #296:
In my case, the problem is not limited to Alt+Tab. It also affects normal movement keys (WASD) and keyboard shortcuts.
Environment:
- macOS Tahoe 26
- Second Life
- Cotabby running in background
Observed behavior:
-
W/A/S/D movement keys can remain logically pressed after release
-
Character continues walking or rotating after key release
-
Key release sometimes appears delayed
-
Some shortcuts behave inconsistently or appear to trigger twice
Example:
- Command+Shift+4 (CleanShot) occasionally opens and immediately closes again, almost like modifier/key state became desynchronized
This feels very similar to the stuck key behavior already described in #296, just triggered through different key combinations and continuous movement input instead of Alt+Tab specifically.
Important:
- Only happens while Cotabby is running
- Reproduced even with other keyboard/input tools disabled
- Problem disappears when Cotabby is closed
