I think you need to use add_subdirectory(stacktrace).

I haven't tested this project as a subdirectory yet, so not sure how well it works (I've only tested it as an installed project).

I'll probably fix this tomorrow if it is truly broken

The MAX_CAPTURE_FRAMES issue can be fixed by rm-ing the build directory.

Maybe regenerating the build directory will also fix windows using linux backends?

I'm now realizing that, if I recall correctly, signal-safe stacktraces do not work properly for windows. Along with that, a lot of the windows code is not working, nor has it been tested in a while. I'll work on fixing those issues soon

The bugs with windows should be resolved as of a4b656d, however note that stacktraces on signals do not work entirely as expected, according to: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/28099965/windows-c-how-can-i-get-a-useful-stack-trace-from-a-signal-handler

I'll look into how to get signals to properly work

in case of program crash, signal is able to print stack anyway?

It will be able to print a stack trace, but the on the stack of the signal handler, instead of the actual process where the exception was thrown.
