I am facing the above command 'chatgpt.openSidebar' not found error on Windsurf since yesterday. Not sure if this issue was introduced by OpenAI or Windsurf. But anyway, it's a Windsurf and Codex incompatibility.
Essentially, the log says:
.../openai.chatgpt-26.5901.22334-linux-x64/out/extension.js:985
SyntaxError: Unexpected identifier 'p'
So this is a syntax issue that I fixed on my local node. I would be happy to push this fix upstream or help elaborate on the issue further.
