Burst Detection sometimes gives different results

Burst Detection under some circumstances gives different results from different computers when they should be the same.

@mginda was not able to reproduce the error. When he gets the point in the IVMOOC where they will use this algorithm, if the error pops up he'll gather data to reproduce the bug as the first step in fixing it.
