The packaging problems

Hello,

I tried to package ssh-studio for the Debian, but there are some problems.

1- the *.ui files are built but not be installed into the target dir (with meson)!

2- the source code (for example main_window.py) thinks that the ui files were installed into the /io/github/BuddySirJava/SSH-Studio/ui instead of /usr/share/ssh-studio/ui

3- the source code datas are installed into the /usr/share/io.github.BuddySirJava.SSH-Studio instead of /usr/share/ssh-studio

ad 1. Probably a bug. I would take a look how this is handled in the Flatpak.

ad 2. These seem to be Gtk Gio Resources. I am not sure how the actual file paths should be, but the gresource prefix/path itself looks correct:

We can't use this path!

But... Is this really a problem for Debian? /usr/share/io.github.BuddySirJava.SSH-Studio looks like a perfectly valid data dir to me.

They are "resource bundles" created from the source files, but to be honest I am not an expert on Gio.

@AsciiWolf Could you install ssh-studio via flatpak and have a look at its filesystem?

Look for where the ui files were installed.

Note: I don't use flatpak on my system

The programme is looking for ui files in /io/github/BuddySirJava/SSH-Studio/ui/host_list.ui

It's not a valid path

I forgot to tell you it, you do not need to change build file to install ui file on correct path. I can do it myself.
You just tell me a path that ssh-studio can work there with ui files

Of course it is better that the problem be fix from upstream
