create requires --file (the API needs at least one purchase option). The update mask is derived from the top-level keys in the file; pass --update-mask to override.

create takes the offer ID from the file's offerId (or --offer-id). update derives the update mask from the file's top-level keys; pass --update-mask to override.

The Play Developer API manages testers as Google Group addresses only; individual tester email lists can only be edited in the Play Console UI.

grant requires the user to already be a member of the developer account; run invite first.

edits

Manage edit sessions (advanced — most commands handle edits internally).

Commands that create their own edit discard it automatically if they fail, so a failed upload never leaves a stale edit behind.

availability

Manage country targeting per release track.

update changes the targeting of the active release only (in-progress, else completed). --include-rest defaults to false; with it set, the listed countries are added on top of "rest of world" availability.

diff

Compare draft edit state against live version.

Reports added, removed and changed locales/tracks. Without --edit-id there is nothing to compare (a fresh edit equals the live state), so the diff is empty. The edit passed in is left untouched.

auth

Manage authentication profiles.

login verifies that the file is a service-account key before saving the profile. Use the global --profile NAME flag (or GPC_PROFILE) to run a single command with another profile.

setup

Interactive setup wizard.

Validate CLI setup and credentials.

Checks performed:

Exit code is non-zero when any check fails; warnings do not fail the run.

init

Initialize project configuration.

Creates .gpc.yaml in the current directory. The CLI auto-detects this file in the current or parent directories.

Keys: package (default --package), output (default --output), track (default track for bundles upload / apks upload when --track is omitted), timeout (default --timeout).

completion

Generate shell completion scripts.

Every global flag can also come from its GPC_* environment variable or from .gpc.yaml; flags win over environment variables, which win over the project file.

Status messages, warnings and --debug traces go to stderr. Only the payload goes to stdout, so every command can be piped to jq. List commands print an empty [] when there are no results.
