What happened
The SQL browser login page gives users too many choices. Here are a few notes from the example version on https://antalya.demo.altinity.cloud.
- The overall layout is confusing. When you arrive for the first time it's not very clear that OAuth and user/name password are effectively different panels. The Connect button only appears when you enter a login.
- The ACM has a much simpler login with email first (or in our case login) above followed by Google. It's very easy to understand. Maybe a good layout to follow?
- The ability to connect to multiple servers is cool but should be hidden when users first arrive. (Maybe have
Advanced -- connect to another server folded closed by default?) It's not necessary to have the Target visible unless you are actually connecting to another server and have it open.
- The github link and OAuth-Credentials line at the bottom should be omitted.
Environment
- Browser + version: All
- ClickHouse server (version / Antalya or OSS): All
- Auth mode (OAuth IdP / credentials): All
- App version (from the build, if shown): v0.2.0 (fd9e29d)
